CrystalLed™ outperforms conventional lighting

Ledlight Group has recently completed a delivery of LED lamps to Aluminium Norf GmbH (Alunorf). CrystalLed™ was installed at the world’s largest aluminium smelting plant and rolling mill in Neuss, Germany. Alunorfs’ objective was to examine how LED lighting improves current light conditions in their indoor production facilities. CrystalLed™ lamps excelled in the difficult conditions, and the robust LED lamps outperformed conventional lighting.

CrystalLed™ provides precise light distribution in high-temperature environments. While heat may sometimes be a difficulty when dealing with LED lamps, CrystalLed™ is specifically designed to withstand extreme conditions. Ledlight Group received favourable feedback from Alunorf following the installation. A test was performed in 34 °C ambient temperature with 55 °C being recorded under the roof. The thermal images show that the heat distribution of the lamps is excellent.

In summary, the test of CrystalLed™ revealed the following:

  • Better colour rendering
  • Energy savings of 56 % compared to conventional lighting
  • Surpassed the required light intensity (200 lux) due to the customized light beam
  • Easy installation and management
  • Good customer service and fast delivery
